Treatments
Dermal filler
Injectable dermal fillers used for volume and contour concerns after medical assessment, planning, and informed consent.
What this treatment is
Dermal filler treatments involve the injection of a gel-like product beneath the skin in selected areas. In cosmetic medicine, filler may be considered as part of a broader assessment and treatment plan.
Who it may be appropriate for
Eligibility depends on anatomy, medical history, medication use, and whether filler is a suitable option compared with other approaches. Some medical conditions, pregnancy or breastfeeding, or certain medications may mean treatment is not appropriate.
Consultation and assessment
Consultation includes discussion of your concerns, examination where indicated, product class options at a general level (without promotional naming of prescription medicines), risks including vascular complications, and consent. A treatment plan is documented when treatment is agreed.
On the day
Treatment is performed in-clinic with appropriate preparation and aseptic technique. The treating doctor will explain the steps as they occur and provide aftercare instructions.
Aftercare and follow-up
You will receive guidance on what to monitor for and how to seek review if needed. Follow-up timing is based on clinical need and the treating doctor’s advice.
